The Saturday October 25th Regular Adult Class Replaced By A Special Seminar Sponsored By The Aiki Budo Centre!

On Saturday October 25th from 10:00am until 11:30am at the Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre the Saturday regular adult Aikido class will be replaced by a special seminar sponsored by the Aiki Budo Centre.

Sensei Fred Haynes Shihan (8th Dan) and Sensei Andrew McBride Shihan (6th Dan) from Victoria B.C., and Sensei Danny Conte (5th Dan) from Burlington Ontario, will be putting on an Aikido seminar.

The fee to attend to the seminar, to either watch or participate, is 10 dollars per person.

The fee can be paid to any senior instructor.

Aiki Budo Centre was founded more than 25 years ago (1995), and it has been my privilege to witness most of that endeavour. As I reflect upon that journey, I am struct by the deep and varied legacy that has been gifted by our mentors – Kiyoyuki Terada Saikō Komon, Amos Parker Shihan and Jacques Payet Shihan, to name just a few – and the further sharing and extension of those gifts by our founder Jaimie Sheppard Shihan and our principal teachers such as Stephan Chau Sensei and Greg Gruninger Sensei.
